The fatty acid composition of corn oil mainly includes saturated fatty acids, oleic acid(48%~56%), linoleic acid and α-linolenic acid. Among them, linoleic acid content is the highest, followed by oleic acid. Corn oil is made from corn germ, which has a higher content of saturated fatty acids compared to sunflower oil and peanut oil, and the unsaturated fatty acids are mainly linoleic acid.
